About Elk Meat

Elk meat is a type of game meat that can be easily substituted for beef in many recipes, from stews to sandwiches and more. Elk meat nutrition is low in calories and fat but high in protein and several micronutrients, including zinc, vitamin B12, niacin, vitamin B6 and phosphorus.

Our elk are locally raised, and our cuts are aged for 14 before we sell them.

What is Elk Velvet Antler? 

Elk Velvet Antler has been used by the Asian Cultures for over 2000 years.

EVA (elk velvet antler) is a Natural, RENEWABLE Resource used to Prevent, Heal, and Relieve Ailments & Injuries

  • The Male (Bull) Elk only grow antlers. The antler is the 2nd fastest growing thing – Mushrooms are #1!

  • “In Velvet” is when the antler starts to grow, covered in an oily material that looks like velvet

  • Currently, the antler is in the growth stage with Optimal Blood Flow - the Nutrient Abundant Phase

  • Blood Flow carries all the Nutrients

  • Antler starts to grow in early Spring. To harness the Optimal Blood Flow, the antler is humanly harvested @ about 70 days after the onset of growth. This is when the antler is at the Optimum Nutrient Level.

  • Once harvested, the antler is kept frozen to keep its integrity of the antler until it is processed

  • There are only 3 animals that grow ivory – Elephants, Walrus, & Elk. All Elk have two teeth on their upper gums that are ivories

What we feed our pet has a significant impact on their well-being and longevity. We provide a local, quality, raw meat alternative pet food options in a variety of mixtures along with, bones, antlers and, elk velvet antler as a beneficial natural complement for your pets.

  • EVA is proven to help aged & injured dogs

  • EVA can be given in the form of loose powder or capsule form

  • If the antler isn’t harvested, then by the end of August, it is pretty much calcified.

  • The antler can be harvested, then cut up into pet chews.

  • Provide 6” & 12” Split & Whole antler in Small, Medium, Large & Extra Large

  • The antler provides healthy gums as well as the calcified center provides nutritional value

  • Raw Meat made up in 80/20, 60/40 mixtures. What does this mean – 80% or 60% ground elk with 20% or 40% elk offal (heart, tongue, liver, kidney). Packaged in 2#, 5# or 7# quantities

  • Raw bones are kept in stock
